Bryan and Auditor Boliek will discuss what it means to be North Carolina Auditor.
North Carolina's State Auditor is a statewide elected constitutional officer responsible for serving as the state's independent watchdog over government spending and operations.

The Auditor's primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting financial and performance audits of state agencies, universities, and programs.
- Investigating allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse involving state funds.
- Reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal financial requirements.
- Reporting audit findings and recommendations to the Governor, General Assembly, and the public.

The State Auditor is elected statewide to a four-year term; Dave Boliek took office in January 2025.
